Everyday Brewing Tips
- Always make in a closed container e.g. a mug covered with a saucer, a teapot or (my personal favourite) a cafetière.
- Use 1-2 heaped tsp of tea per cup.
- Always begin with freshly boiled water.
- Infuse for at least 15 min, ideally 30 min. Let it seep long enough to truely unlock the plant's voice.
- You can top up your herbs throughout the day with more hot water - just allow extra infusing time, and always keep it covered.
- At the end of the day bless and discard the used herbs.
How to Make Iced Tea
- Every blend can be enjoyed chilled - especially usefu for those navigating menopausal heat.
- Brew your blend as usual with freshly boiled water.
- Let it cool, the pour over ice.
- you can sweeten it naturally, or sip it bare - just as the plants intended.
How To make Tea with Less Fluid
- Prepare as usual, but only use a small amount of freshly boiled water- just enough to cover the herbs with care.
- Your Tea will be strong, effective and beautifully concentrated.
- This method works beautifully with Get Me To Sleep tea but any blend can be prepared in this way.
